CAE:Certificate In Advanced English

آزمون CAE چیست؟
CAE مخفف Certificate In Advanced English می باشد که به عنوان یکی از معتبرترین آزمون های دانشگاه کمبریج انگلستان است.این آزمون سطح علمی زبان آموزان را در سطح پیشرفته مورد ارزیابی قرار می دهد.

سالانه بیش از یک میلیون نفر در سراسر جهان در آزمون های بین المللی زبان کمبریج شرکت می کنند و گواهینامه های صادر شده از طرف این دانشگاه توسط تعداد زیادی از دانشگاه ها و موسسات آموزشی به رسمیت شناخته می شود.به عنوان مثال اداره مهاجرت استرالیا از سال 2015 مدرک CAE را برای تمام ویزاها قبول می کند.

محتویات آزمون CAE چگونه است؟

این آزمون 5 ساعت طول می کشد و شامل 5 بخش است : گفت و شنود-درک مطلب-نگارش و کاربرد زبان.

کسب نمره قبولی در این آزمون به صورت Pass(A,B,C) و نمره های (D,E,U) fail  می باشد.همه مهارت ها در این آزمون به یک میزان اهمیت دارند و نمره کل برآیند هر چهار مهارت می باشد.

معمولا CAE معادل نمره 7 الی 8 آیلتس و 110 الی 120 تافل  می باشد .

از نکات جالب این آزمون می توان گفت که مدرک آن دارای تاریخ انقضا نمی باشد و اساسا اعتبار تمامی گواهینامه های صادر شده از دانشگاه کمبریج بدون محدودیت بازه زمانی است.

دوره CAE در مرکز زبان های خارجی سازمان جهاد دانشگاهی تهران از سالهای گذشته توسط تیم اساتید مجرب و با تجربه این حوزه ارائه می شده است و از لحاظ ساختاری و زمان بندی شامل 4 ترم 40 ساعته می باشد.
هر ترم در یک فصل سال و به مدت ده هفته برگزار می گردد.

Unit 7 Objectives:

• Reading: Details on “Part 1” texts and how to answer “themed text” questions

• Vocabulary: A list of phrasal verbs with “off and in”, and an overview on word formation process with a focus on “noun suffixes” and “antonym prefixes”

• Grammar: Details on “participle clauses” and “reduced adverbial and adjective clauses”. Students will learn to write more economically and advanced sentences

• Listening: An overview on “Part 2” tasks and how to answer “sentence completion” questions

• Speaking: A guideline on how to tackle with “Part 2” of the speaking session in which students learn to answer pointed questions about photos in a fixed time

• Use of English: An emphasis on “Part 3” about “word formation” and how to answer questions of these sorts. Students will learn to choose the correct part of speech based on the part of the sentence that is left blank

• Writing: A general overview on “Part 2” and how to write “a competition entry”

Unit 8 Objectives:

• Reading: Details on “Part 3” texts and how to answer “multiple choice” questions. Students will get familiar with “option elimination processes”.

• Vocabulary: A list of terms related to “big issues around the world” and a general overview on “easily confused words”. Students will also learn expressions using “end”

• Grammar: A review of “conditional sentences” and the four different types. Students will get familiar with unique forms conditionals.

• Listening: A general overview on “Part 3” tasks and how to answer “multiple choice” questions. Students will learn how to use “option elimination techniques” to find the correct answer.

• Speaking: A guideline on how to tackle with “Part 3 & 4” of the speaking session. Students will listen to real people taking this task on an exam and decide on the best plan to handle to this part.

• Use of English: An emphasis on “Part 1” about “multiple-choice cloze”

• Writing: A general overview on “Part 2” and how to write “a magazine article”

Unit 9 Objectives:

• Reading: A general overview on “Part 4” texts and how to answer “multiple matching” questions. Students will learn to use key words to decide on possible answers.

• Vocabulary: A list of terms related to “crime and punishment” and their related prepositions. Students will also learn some phrasal verbs with “out and over”

• Grammar: A review of “passive sentences” in different tenses. Students will also learn passive sentences with “get and have”.

• Listening: A general overview on “Part 1” tasks and how to answer “short extracts” questions

• Speaking: A guideline on how to tackle with “Part 2” of the speaking session

• Use of English: An emphasis on “Part 2” about “open cloze” questions

• Writing: A review on “Part 1” and how to write “a report”
